Yadash turns material you provide into study roadmaps and flashcards. We collect only the data needed to create study content, sync it with your app session, operate the service, process subscriptions when enabled, diagnose errors, and keep the app reliable.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites.
This policy is written in English and is intended to support users in Germany, the European Union, and other regions where Yadash is available.
Data We Process
Yadash may process:
- Source material you add, including pasted text, imported PDFs, screenshots, scanned pages, OCR text, and highlighted snippets.
- Generated study content, including topics, roadmap nodes, flashcards, review ratings, and spaced-repetition progress.
- Product interaction needed for the learning system, such as review ratings, due status, and study progress.
- Anonymous or signed-in account identifiers used to sync your content with Yadash Cloud.
- Email address if you choose email sign-in.
- Purchase and subscription status if you subscribe to Yadash Plus after subscriptions are enabled.
- Diagnostic data, such as support IDs, app version, build number, operating system version, device model, locale, request timing, errors, and crash or performance information.
We do not ask for your contacts or location. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not stored by Yadash.
How We Use Data
We use data for app functionality and service operation:
- Creating and updating learning roadmaps and flashcards.
- Recognizing text and highlighted passages from files or scans.
- Syncing topics, progress, and review state.
- Managing account sign-in and purchase entitlements when enabled.
- Metering AI credits for cloud generation when enabled.
- Scheduling study with spaced repetition.
- Diagnosing bugs, crashes, failed requests, and backend reliability problems.
- Protecting the service from misuse and operational failures.
For users in the European Economic Area, the legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
Cloud and AI Processing
Yadash uses Yadash Cloud for roadmap and flashcard generation. Source material, extracted text, highlights, and generated study data may be sent to our backend and AI providers only to provide the app’s study features and operate the service.
Do not upload material that you do not have permission to process or that contains highly sensitive information you do not want processed by a cloud service.
Camera, Files, and Device Permissions
Yadash asks for camera access only when you choose to scan pages. Files are accessed only when you choose a file through the system file picker. Session tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain.
Retention and Deletion
You can delete your Yadash data and session in the app under Settings > Delete Data and Session. This deletes roadmaps, cards, progress, source text, and the Yadash Cloud account associated with the app session.
Operational logs may be retained for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability for a limited period according to the cloud provider’s log-retention settings.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, including in Germany and the European Union, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To make a privacy request, contact privacy@getyadash.app. We may need information that helps us identify the app session or account connected to your request.
Sharing
We may share data with service providers that help operate Yadash, including cloud hosting, database, logging, AI processing, authentication, email delivery, and subscription infrastructure providers. These providers process data only to provide the service.
We do not sell your data and do not share it for third-party advertising.
Tracking
Yadash does not track you across apps or websites and does not use tracking domains.
Children
Yadash is a study tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If a child uses the app, a parent or guardian should supervise the material they upload.
